Moringa
Moringa is a plant native to India belonging to the Moringaceae family, it is a tree widespread in the equatorial and tropical areas of the planet which can even reach 10 meters in height.
Always used in Indian folk medicine and in the traditional medicines of the countries where this tree usually grows, Moringa is often called the "miracle tree" or "miracle tree", since, according to these alternative medicines, it is able to prevent and treat multiple ailments. However, it is likely that this name does not only derive from the presumed curative and preventive abilities attributed to the plant, but also from its ability to grow in unfavorable conditions, in the presence of drought, in poor soil and with extremely variable pH.
In our country, dried and chopped or powdered leaves are available and used for the preparation of infusions or drinks. The powdered leaves and seed extracts are also included in the composition of various food supplements approved by the Ministry of Health.
